The Basics

ACM Messenger sends messages via voice, text, or email.  We will only ever deliver one message per contact. The communication method and recipient list will depend on several factors: 

  • Your organization’s preferred contact settings
  • The contact information available in your EHR
  • Individual contact preferences. 

For any message you send, you only need to compose one version of the communication, and we will automatically convert your message to be delivered via the applicable communication method. 

Step 1 | Write/Edit Your Message

  • Start with a pre-existing template or write your own
  • Use the AI Message Assistant to refine your text (optional)
  • Add a subject line
  • If saving as a template, provide a template name

Step 2 | Filter Your Audience

Determine who will get your message. Filter by

  • Facility
  • Recipient Type
    • Resident Contacts
    • Resident Contacts (Search by resident name)
    • Staff (if your organization has the Staff Add-on)
  • Resident Status
    • New (In your EHR but not moved in)
    • Current
    • Discharged
    • Newly Admitted (in the last 60 days)
  • Resident Contacts
    • All Residents
    • Unit
    • Room
    • Floor

Step 3 | Send

That’s it!

Confirm the message details in the pop-up, and you’re done! Your message is sent and will be automatically logged.

Note: We highly recommend you send yourself a voice, text, and email TEST before sending a message. This will allow you to preview exactly what your targeted contacts will receive.
