Two Factor Authentication Process for ACM Vault

How do recipients read their ACM Vault message?

How it works

When a recipient receives and ACM Vault message, they will go through a simple two-factor authentication (2FA) process:

  1. Receive an email or text that they have a time sensitive and confidential message
  2. Click Read Message button containing a unique and encrypted link
  3. An encrypted page will automatically open in their browser
  4. Click the Send Code button
  5. A 6 digit verification code will be sent to the modality they received the initial message (message via email = code via email, message via text = code via text)
  6. Enter the 6 digit code in the web page
  7.  They can now read the initial message and attachments you sent
