Q: Does ACM Vault store patient information differently than ACM Alerts or ACM Messenger?
A: Yes, ACM Vault and ACS Booking will store more PII in a dedicated data store, unlike ACM Alerts and ACM Messenger, which only store obfuscated patient data.
Q: How is ACM Vault accessed?
A: It is a feature within ACM Messenger. It is available by default to all non-PCC users of ACM Messenger. For PCC customers, it is an add-on solution.
Q: What are the user defaults for ACM Vault?
A: By default, System Admins and Managers have access. There is an ACM Vault privilege where it can be changed to suit the needs of the customer.
Q: Is ACM Vault enabled at the Facility or Organizational level?
A: Like the Staff Add-on, it can be enabled at both. If an organization has ACM Vault enabled at 7 of 10 facilities and a user attempts to send a Vault message to all recipients, it will only be sent to facilities with ACM Vault enabled.
Q: Through what modalities can an ACM Vault message be sent?
A: Via SMS or Email only. We cannot send an encrypted link or 2FA flow via voice call.
Q: What is encrypted?
A: Both the link to ACM Vault and the landing page itself are encrypted.
Q: How will recipients receive their 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) code?
A: Via the medium of the message. So if they click the link in an email, the code will come in an email. If they click the link in a text, the code will come via text.
Q: How many attempts does the recipient get to enter the 2FA code correctly?
A: Five attempts. The code will also expire after 5 minutes. The recipient just needs to click the “Read Message” link in the email to restart the process and get a new code.
Q: How long before the encrypted page times out due to inactivity?
A: 5 minutes.
Q: For how long are ACM Vault messages accessible to the recipient?
A: By default, 30 days. This can be changed by the customer to any timeframe between 1-90 days via the CS/Support team.
Q: Can attachments be sent via ACM Vault?
A: Yes. It has the same attachment limits as ACM Messenger. Up to 10 MB.
Q: Will a Template saved as an ACM Vault template always be sent as a Vault Message?
A: No. In the template editor, those with ACM Vault privileges can click the ACM Vault slider to send the message as unencrypted.
