Workflow Options
ACS Check-In has many workflow options to streamline the check-in process. Workflow options include:
- Update Demographic Information: Patients or residents can review and update demographic details during check-in, such as contact information, address, or emergency contact details.
- Complete Forms: Include and published forms from ACS Forms and Surveys. Forms can be attached to a corresponding appointment type and can be designated as Required or Optional during the check-in process.
- Collect Payments Connect to a payment vendor, such as Stripe, Square, and collect payments for co-pays, balances, fees, or other required charges.
- Scan QR Codes or ID Cards: Patients or residents can scan a QR code or ID card to validate their identity and begin check-in.
- Send Internal Notifications: Internal alerts can automatically notify designated staff or teams when a patient or resident has arrived, helping ensure the right people are informed and ready for the next step in the workflow.
- Update EMR Status: Automatically update the patient or resident’s status in the EMR, showing that they have arrived or completed check-in.
