Creating New Events/Appointments

Effortlessly schedule and manage events right from your calendar or schedule.

Note: If you would like to use ACM Alerts to send reminders or notifications for events other than those listed above, please notify the Cliniconex team via email to newimplementations@cliniconex.com.

Note: For all other EMRs, refer to your EMR user guide.

  1. Navigate to the Clinical Tab > Other > Setup.
  2. Under General Configuration, select Event Calendar Configuration.
  3. In the Event Types section, click New.
  4. Enter the exact name of the event.
  5. Provide a clear description of the event.
  6. Click Save to add the new event to your calendar.

Tip: Ensure the event name and description are accurate, as they’ll be used for notifications and communication.

Follow the steps listed below for steps on how to create an Appointment Type:

  1. Select the Accuro Start Menu (or press ALT).
  2. Select Scheduler.
  3. Click on Scheduler Management.
  4. In the Scheduler Management window, select the Types tab to display a list of Accuro Appointment Types.
  5. Add a new Appointment Type by selecting the Add button.
  6. A new row will appear at the bottom of the list. Enter a name and colour for the new Appointment Type.
  7. If you operate multiple offices in Accuro, share Appointment Types with them using the checkbox in the Shared column.
  8. Share to Medeo enables the checkbox within Appointment Details to be selected. Patients can then see the appointment in their Medeo portal.
  9. Select Apply to save your changes, then select Close.
