How to send an ACM Vault message

How to send an ACM Vault message

By default, ACM Vault is available to System Admins and Managers. Permissions can be changed at any time in the Privileges section.

An ACM Vault message can be triggered in 2 ways:

  1. By using an ACM Vault template
  2. Enabled ACM Vault on a per message basis

Saving an ACM Vault Template

When creating a new template, scroll to the bottom of the template editor, click the ACM Vault toggle so that it is green. This will turn on ACM Vault.

Double check the Template Scope and ensure the template is being saved at either the organizational level or for a specific facility or location.

Easily identify an ACM Vault template by the lock icon next to a template name.

Any template saved as ACM Vault, can also be sent as a regular, unencrypted message. Simply scroll down in the template editor to ACM Vault Template and click the toggle.

The template will remain as an ACM Vault template unless you save this change.

Triggering an Individual ACM Vault Message

Click Enable ACM Vault at the bottom of the template editor.

Messages sent with ACM Vault, will require the recipient to enter one of the following pieces of information about the patient or resident before accessing the message:

  • Last Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Postal Code/Zip Code
